When you are at wit’s end and you’re having a bad day you need to relax and heal it only takes a few minutes to do. Here are two Relaxing healing meditation to center you with presence. Each works wonders for the body mind and soul.
“If you are quiet enough, you will hear the flow of the universe. You will feel its rhythm. Go with this flow. Happiness lies ahead. Meditation is key.” ~Buddha
The first one is a quick relaxation meditation and the second is a little more in depth. Both support you in feeling better every day!
1. Try this Quick Breathing Meditation
You can do this sitting or lay down
Meditation can be done sitting or laying down it only takes a few minutes to do so don’t worry you will not fall asleep. Take in a breath through your nose and hold your breath for a few seconds and let it go exhaling slowly through your mouth.
Be aware and feel the air move in and out of your lungs watching your stomach rises and falls. Put your hand on your stomach and feel it moving in and out.
When you breath in slow steady breathes it feels like a wave moving in and out from the shore. As you breathe in imagine the breath a wonderful light coming in to your lungs and healing every cell in your body as it continues to expand all around you. The light is cleansing, healing the cells in your body, happy with smiles all over.
Recently, I have been doing these meditations I find them to be quite calming.
This is the Power of Meditation
The world is such a place that meditation helps to let your body slow down and relax. The light of your divine presence and the oneness of the universe heals and renews with the breath.
2. Breathing Meditation for Anxiety
Close your eyes and relax let your mind go blank and then discern what you see in your mind’s eye. You may see colours, shapes, squiggles or something else. When you breathe inhale a light so bright like the sun shining within you and radiating outwards.
Imagine when you exhale the problems that you are facing dissipating and the universe healing them. Do this slowly and for as long as you feel you can. Start around five minutes and work your way up from there each day. This is great if you suffer anxiety.
Take your time with your breath, try not to regulate it too much just relax and let your body do what it does best. Continue to listen to the breath and relax further. This is a great meditation so you can enjoy the rest of your day feeling cleansed and ready to face anything that comes at you.
Each day you practice these relaxing healing meditations you feel better as you build a wonderful habit. Meditation may seem hard at first but don’t worry if it gets easier you just have to stick with it.
Once you start to feel better, you will be excited to do it more often. When you meditate, understand that the magnificent light and relaxing meditation centers you with presence to shine upon you and heal you inside and out.
