Most people are not aware that they make unconscious Intention. It only takes a minute of your time, however, this introspective exercise may lead to some profound insights into how we can achieve our goals more easily with less stress on ourselves.
So, let’s explore what your Intention for the month maybe. A positive Intention can be anything that will make you feel good to helping you improve your life.
How Do I Write My Intentions?
Consider the person you want to be today?
Who do you want to be? Do you want to be the person that wakes up grumpy and takes out their anger on the ones they love? Or are you going to take a minute before reacting, think about how your actions will affect the people around you, and make sure your words are with kindness?
Reflection is a quick evaluation of how you may see yourself and then substituting your Intention to progress in a positive direction in life.
The choice is yours. You can choose not to get mad at all or let your Intention govern who you are for this day.
Reflect on your past successes and failures.
We all have had successes and failures, but we can’t always remember what they were. It often helps to look back at the good and bad times of our lives to grow as people. It’s about finding out what makes us who we are today by reflecting on those experiences that shaped us. You can then decide which parts you loved and the parts you dont want look at the people who surrounded you. Usually, this is a great reason why there were not so good moments in your life. Your thoughts are what control your reality. It’s getting back to what you want that changes your life for the better. So Intention setting starts from here.
We all want to make life better for ourselves and others around us; it’s just that sometimes we don’t know how or where to start. There are many ways that one can improve their own life; reflecting on past successes and failures is one way.
How Do You Set An Intention
Setting an Intention for the day has been shown to increase productivity and happiness.
Set an Intention for the day: What do you want to achieve or experience today? The answer is close to your heart. Setting your Intention early in the morning will help you get a good start on life’s challenges.
- First thing in the morning, say your Intention over a few times. Let it sink into your thoughts for about 20 seconds. It doesn’t take long.
- If you meditate, bring your Intention into that practice.
- Write your Intention down and take a moment to reflect before going out into your day.
- Go over your Intention mid-day and then again in the afternoon. Suppertime and before you go to bed. Keep your Intention close like your best friend.
- Stick reminders on your phone, post-it notes on your mirror or even stick a reminder note in your purse or pocket.
- When you go over your Intention, experience it like it is happening in the present. When you write it down, feel like it is now.
Record your Intentions throughout the year in an Intention Calendar. I found that by making a record of my Intentions for each month, I kept myself accountable. It also helped me stay motivated because I could see how many things I had achieved already.
How Do You Manifest an Intention?
An Intention is a seed. The Manifestation is the fruit. We are all seeds waiting to be planted, watered, and nurtured so that we can reach our full potential. Manifesting Intentions leads to better mental health for you and the people closest to you in your life.
I’ve always been a believer in the power of manifesting. Taking what you love most and making it your Intention is a very personal thing. It can be done in private, in your own space. Or set at a full moon or new moon.
At the beginning of each year, at the beginning of each month, at the beginning of each week or day. Start by writing down what you really want in your life to happen for you. It may be a whole list of things or just one. Write it down at the beginning of each month. Make sure it is believable to you. Waje up with your Intention carry it throughout the day. Manifest the life you want during the hours you live, not hoping but knowing this is you now.
Going over your intention at least three times a day and making sure it is believable to you is the most important thing.
Put out your Intentions for what you want to manifest and then go about your day-to-day life without worrying when it would happen. This helped me learn to believe that anything is possible if you are willing to work hard enough at it.
